Marion A Perley

Marion Ada Perley, 90, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

She was born November 27, 1931 in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada to the late Archie and Marion McAffer. She married Kirk W. Perley on June 13, 1953. He died October 5, 2016.

Marion was employed with Port Huron Hospital for 43 years prior to retirement. She was an avid Detroit Tigers and Red Wings fan as well as an avid reader. Marion was active at Westminster Church where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and was on the deacon and session boards. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Perley; son, David Perley; grandchildren, Mallory (Albert) Sabon and Jared Smith; two great grandchildren, Alexander Brown and Amelia Sabon, with one great grandchild on the way; special niece, JoAnne McAffer; several nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law, Glenn (Connie) Perley. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karyn Perley-Smith; grandchildren, Robert and Ashley Brown; daughter-in-law, Nan Perley; son-in-law, Donald Smith; and three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Westminster Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend Tim Anderson will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
