Christopher J Holsbeke

Christopher John Holsbeke, 66, of Port Huron, died Monday, July 4, 2022.

He was born March 23, 1956 in Harper Woods to the late Robert and Mary Jean Holsbeke. He married Janice M. Minnie on July 10, 1993 in Port Huron.

Christopher was formerly employed at Grand Trunk Western Railroad for 22 years, then Acheson Colloids and finally retiring from I.A.C. in South Park. He enjoyed classic cars and could fix anything. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Janice; three children, Lisa (Conrad) Haremza, James Karl and Angie (Butch) Gauthier; seven grandchildren, Katie, Kristen, Mollie, Collin, Josh, Jacob and Grayson; and five brothers, Mike, Rick, Bob, Tim and Matt. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Emily Gauthier.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Private graveside services will be held in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
