Barbara G Parker

Barbara G. Parker, 82, of Port Huron, died Monday, August 8, 2022.

Barb “Bobbie Gene” Buckeridge was born April 6, 1940 in Port Huron. Barb’s Mother, Margaret “Peg” O’Brien was a loving and guiding influence in her life. Barb married Robert G. Parker on July 1, 1961 in Port Huron. He died November 26, 2017.

Barb was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She also ran the dental office for Dr. Vaitiekaitis for many years.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Parker, Rebecca Parker (Phillip Gajewski) and Kristen Parker; two grandsons, Brodey and Brennen Hornby; nephew, Thomas Parker (Katie Levant-Parker) and great-aunt to their daughter, Nora; and numerous members of the O’Brien and Todd families.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.

A private family burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.

The family prefers memorial contributions be made to any of the following, Holy Trinity Parish, Hospice Foundation of America or the American Cancer Society.
