Robert John Valdez, 40, of Kimball Township, died Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
He was born January 20, 1983 in Bakersfield, California to the late Daniel and Cynthia Valdez. He married his longtime love, Tara Horan on June 9, 2017 in Port Huron.
Robert worked at Eissmann Group Automotive. He was very patriotic and was passionate about upholding laws and the Constitution. He loved helping people. In 2009 he saved Rhonda, a woman who had been in a car accident. He was also an animal lover and liked fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Tara; three sons, Michael, Zaden and Logan Valdez; two brothers, Daniel and David Valdez; and seven nieces and nephews, Daniel, Alauna, Nick, Amber, Tony, Kenna and Ray.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Pastor Randy Bennett will officiate.
