Larry Sontag

Larry Douglas Sontag, 74, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

He was born August 11, 1948 in Sandusky, to the late Melton and Virginia Sontag.

Larry worked for many years in Construction. He loved football and racing very much, enjoyed working on cars, playing cards with friends, and especially spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charon; daughter, Angelique (Danny) Bortolon; daughter-in-law, April (Shannon) Emerick; grandchildren, Daniel, Kayla, Ashlynn, Kolton, Riley, Kendall, Luka, Matilda, and Jaxson; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Merry (Dan) Proctor; and several loved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Larry Emerick; grandson, Koby Raymo; brothers, Jerry, Carey, Terry, and Perry Sontag.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday March 11, 2023 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral home, with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Pastor Marvin Downs will officiate.
