Michelle K. Duckworth, 79, of Birch Run, formerly of Port Huron, died Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
She was born March 6, 1944 in Lansing to the late Ernest A. and Kathleen Stuart. She married LeRoy A. Duckworth on September 2, 1967 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Port Huron.
Michelle graduated from St. Stephen High School. She was employed as a manager with the Bridge Restaurant for many years. She was a former parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church and member of the Moose Lodge #158.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, LeRoy; children, Sherry (Mann) Martin, Laura (Noah) Herrington and Joseph (Leah) Duckworth; grandchildren, Jason Duckworth, JaShay Martin, Jason Martin, Jacob Porter, Jack Porter, Jonah Herrington, Aidan Duckworth, Ronan Duckworth and Rachael Duckworth; sisters, Viola (Dennis) Day, Verna (Dennis) Roy and Colleen (Richard) Johnson; brother, Ernie Stuart; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary and Patsy; and brother-in-law, Dave.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
Inurnment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery Columbarium, Port Huron.
