Joyce I Bringard

Joyce Irene Bringard, 88, of Fort Gratiot, died peacefully on Friday, June 23, 2023, with her family by her side

She was born November 9, 1934 in Coldwater, Michigan to the late Elmer and Josephine Roach. She married Herbert L. Bringard on August 23, 1952 in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church.

Joyce volunteered and sat on the board of the Girl Scouts for many years and also with the League of Catholic Women.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Herbert; children, Dennis (Joyce H.) Bringard, Laurie (Terry) Purcell, Stephen (Kelley) Bringard and Martin (Jean) Bringard; and grandchildren, Justin (Jennifer) Purcell, Jacqueline Purcell, Taylor Bringard, Jacob Bringard and Jack Bringard.

Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Lee Acervo will officiate.

Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Township.
