Charles R Langolf

Charles R. Langolf, 91, of Port Huron, died Friday, June 30, 2023.

He was born September 6, 1931 in Port Huron to the late Andrew and Mary Langolf. He married Aletha Mae Tarzwell on October 27, 1951 in Flint, Michigan. She preceded him in death on April 6, 2005.

Charles was employed at Yeager Bridge and retired from Ferguson Steel Company in 1993. He enjoyed machine shop work and operated a shop as a hobby. He loved his motorcycle and participated in many outings. Charles was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, Blue Water Aerie #3702 Fraternal Order of Eagles and Moose Lodge #158.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Loxton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wallace, Edward and William; and his sister, Catherine Roelens.

Visitation will be held from 5:30-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 5, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, July 6, 2023 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Joseph Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township.
