Carol A McCarty

Carol Ann McCarty, 73, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

She was born March 9, 1950 in Port Huron to the late Roy “Chick” and Helen McCarty.

Carol was employed at Dr. Gerald Jerry’s office for many years and currently with Dean Transportation. Her friends and family were very dear to her and she was an animal lover. She enjoyed walking her dog and being at the lake looking for heart-shaped rocks and beach glass.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachael Johnsick; two grandsons, Jake and Sam Johnsick; sister, Barbara (John) Schmidt; a nephew; and several nieces. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bob McCarty; and sister-in-law, Muffy (McCarty) Rike.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12 noon. The Reverend Timothy Eichberger will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Springhill Cemetery, Greenwood Township.
