Margaret M Schroeder

Margaret Mary Schroeder, 69, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, July 23, 2023.

She was born March 16, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and Mary Milton. She married Wayne Schroeder on June 16, 1973 in Chicago.

Margaret worked at Mary Maxim for 10 years. She then was employed as a bank teller at E&A Credit Union for 10 years and Chase Bank for 10 years before her retirement. She was very proud of her Irish heritage. She especially loved her grandchildren and would do anything for her family and close friends.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wayne; daughter, Christine Marie “Sunshine” (Jason) Dimmick; sons, William John Schroeder and Timothy Wayne Schroeder; three grandchildren, Tyler John Dimmick, Sullivan Owen Schroeder and Lanora Jade Schroeder; and five siblings, Kathleen Maloney, Andrew (Linda) Milton, William (Tina) Milton, Mary Anne (David) Arenz and Thomas Milton. She was preceded in death by her brother, John “Jackie” Milton.

Visitation will be from 5-7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Deacon Alan Pionk will officiate.
