Carol L. Armstrong
Carol Lee (Bonin) Armstrong was called home to God, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the age of 82.
She was born August 8, 1940 to the late Frank and Della Bonin.
Carol had a heart of gold. She was a selfless and generous woman who spent her years taking care of her family and friends. Carol was a Pro-Life Warrior and saved countless babies and supported women through their pregnancies. She opened her home to unwed mothers and was a Birthright counselor. Carol was an avid euchre player and enjoyed playing all games, including cards, golf, and crossword puzzles. One of her greatest golf achievements is getting two hole-in-ones and she wouldn't let her husband forget it. She loved to paint and draw to give as gifts to her family. Carol was a devoted grandmother who made every occasion special, especially Christmas and birthdays.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Norman Armstrong; loving mother of Laura (deceased) (Greg) Dunn, Linda Burton, Robert (Marlyn) Armstrong, Leslie Gentry and Jennifer Armstrong; dear grandma of Gregory, Carol, Daniel, Kevin, Katrina, Stephen, Rose, Amanda, Jane, Jimmy, Matthew, Nathaniel, Ryan, Aaron, Maria, Kristy, Alexandra, Michael, Elizabeth, Zander, Zoe and Zane; great grandma of 14 grandchildren; and sister of Shirley (Jack) Dennis (deceased), Richard (deceased) (Eileen) Bonin, Doris (Joe) Bennett (deceased), Lorraine (Robert Lapish and Fred Roach) Roach (deceased), Johnny (deceased) (Theresa) Bonin, Ralph (deceased) (Teresa) Bonin, Donald (Anita) Bonin (deceased), and Betty (Richard) Learn.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2023 in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church, Lakeport, MI.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Port Huron, MI. The family prefers memorials be made to Defenders of the Unborn.
