Mary Ann Johnston

Mary Ann Johnston, 83, of Port Huron, died Wednesday. August 9, 2023.

She was born August 15, 1939 in Port Huron to the late Edwin and Pauline Condland. She married Stuart L. Johnston in 1962 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2008.

Mary Ann worked as a seamstress for Lott Anter and later Westside Cleaners. She also worked as a driver for the Department of Health and Human Services, taking people to appointments. Mary Ann was a member of the Red Hat Society for many years.

She is survived by her son, Terry Johnston (Mimi Fitzpatrick), and nephews, Mike, Joe and Matt Condland, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Condland; and brothers, James and Ted Condland.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
