Barbara A McGraw

Barbara Ann McGraw, 88, of Fort Gratiot, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

She was born April 21, 1935 in Port Huron to the late Albert and Grace Glombowski. She married John P. McGraw III on October 22, 1966 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2022.

Barbara graduated from St. Stephen High School in 1953. She was employed at Michigan National Bank for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Edward on the Lake School, watching the Detroit Tigers and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Steve) Scandalito; son, Timothy McGraw; two grandchildren, Merissa and Anthony Scandalito; sister, Rosemary Shubert; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and Ronald Glombowski.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023 in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Lee Acervo will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
