Alex Perkins

Alex Perkins, 63, of Port Huron, died Monday, October 2, 2023.

He was born February 17, 1960 in Washington, D.C. to Joanna and the late James Perkins.

Alex enjoyed singing, fishing, cooking, barbequing and especially joking with everyone.

He is survived by his partner of 26 years, Lisa DeJohn; children, LaQuanda Alston-Rogers, Alex Alston and Anneshia Lewis; step-son, Chad DeJohn; grandchildren, Tyeisha, Tre’Sean and Ti’Nya Alston and Kyel Lewis; mother, Joanna Perkins; sisters, Gerald Ann Perkins, Joyce Elizabeth Perkins and Evelyn Marlene Perkins; brothers, James Stanley Perkins and Graylin Thomas Perkins; and best friend, Joseph Hurley.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Anderson Perkins; and brothers, Marvin Purdie and Ronnie Perkins.

Cremation has taken place.
