Trina Northrop

Trina Diane Northrop, 32, of Fort Gratiot, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

She was born August 9, 1991 in Port Huron to Thomas and Tina Parmann. She married Aaron Northrop on October 5, 2012.

Trina was employed with Port Huron Area Schools for six years before she could no longer work due to her battle with cancer. After that time, she became a beloved photographer for the area, capturing beautiful family memories for all her clients. Trina enjoyed spending time with her family, living in the moment, making memories with her two boys, taking family vacations, and enjoying cottage sunsets. Her smile would light up a room and she always made people feel like they were special.

Trina is survived by her husband of 11 years, Aaron Northrop; her boys, Ryder and Oaklyn; her parents, Thomas and Tina Parmann; sister and brother-in-law, Trista and Sam Maltby; grandparents, Edward and Penny Shank, and Margorie Parmann; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Deborah Northrop; and brother-in-law, Jason Northrop; and many close aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Port Huron, Michigan with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate. A luncheon will follow.

The family would like to invite you all to celebrate Trina’s life at Black River County Club, Port Huron on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. for food, drinks and sharing of all the wonderful memories Trina created in her life.
