Timothy Richard Jobbitt, 58, of North Street, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

He was born September 4, 1965 in Port Huron to Thomas E. and Sheila Jobbitt. He married Mary Jo Bass on December 20, 1986 in Yale, Michigan.

Tim graduated from Port Huron Northern in 1983. He was employed as a delivery driver for UPS and also worked on the SCC Sheriff Marine Division. Tim enjoyed collecting and restoring old cars, collecting antique signs, old Coke machines and other antiques. He loved traveling, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family as they were always his priority.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Jo; daughter, Jana (Mike) Cheney; son, Tim B. Jobbitt; and was “Bumpa” to Brooklynn, Sydney, Madison and Jackson. He is also survived by his parents, Thomas and Sheila Jobbitt; siblings, Thomas W. (Louann) Jobbitt, Kathleen L. Jobbitt-Clay (Ahmard Clay), James T. (Rebecca) Jobbitt and Todd M. (Sunny) Jobbitt; brothers-in-law, Stuart (Lynn) Bass and Bill (Ann) Bass; sisters-in-law, Marnie Bass and Margie Bass (Jack Roberts); mother-in-law, Jean Bass; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, MacKenzie Cheney.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2023 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mike Maddox, Jim Randolph, Pat Cruickshank, Andrew Jobbitt, Jeff Pentzien and Scott Kirby, Tim B. Jobbitt, Aidan Jobbitt-Armendariz and Alessandro Jobbitt-Armendariz
