Marvin R Weston

Marvin Roy Weston, 91, of Fort Gratiot, died Monday, February 12, 2024.

He was born October 30, 1932 in Fargo, Michigan to the late Frank and Rachel Weston. He married Anna Jean Strenk on June 4, 1955 in Yale.

Marvin graduated from Yale High School. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a medic. He was employed at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn and Naples, Florida for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed boating, golfing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anna; children, Cindy Friend and Sandra (Stan) Brown; grandchildren, Rachel Friend (Peter Matranga), SaraJo Friend (Matthew Alexander), Lindsey (Mark) Rothschild, Tyler (Christina) Brown, Andrea (Brandon) LeBlanc and Curtis (Nicole) Brown; 13great grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Bill (Karen) Strenk. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Burnell; sister, Donna Myers; son-in-law, Daniel Friend; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathleen and William Strenk; and two brothers-in-law, Ron and Don Strenk

Cremation has taken place. Family services will be held at a later date.
