Linda J Wyllie

Linda J. Wyllie, 83, of Port Huron, died Sunday, February 18, 2024 at McLaren Port Huron Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born August 26, 1940 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Eugene and Margaret Schieman. She married Michael C. Wyllie in 1962 and had two children.

Linda graduated from St. Stephen High School in 1958. She enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and was a sharp Euchre player. She was a member of the Catholic League of Women and the St. Joseph’s Chorale, led by Sister Gloria Korhonen for over 40 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Greg) Fadell; son, David Wyllie; and many dear friends, including a group of St. Stephen alumni whom she had monthly reunion get togethers with. She was preceded in death by her parents; and twin brothers, Dennis and David Schieman.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024 in St. Joseph Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate. A light luncheon will follow the service.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
