Rosemary Shubert

November 26th, 1931 to April 8th, 2024

Rosemary Shubert, 92, of Port Huron, entered eternal life on Monday, April 8, 2024.

She was born November 26, 1931 in Port Huron to the late Albert and Grace Glombowski. She married Harry Shubert on September 29, 1956 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Port Huron. He preceded her in death on August 20, 2012 after nearly 56 years of marriage.

Rosemary was a 1949 graduate of St. Stephen High School where she had perfect attendance all four years of high school. She cared and loved her family very much.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Anne (Jesse) Mohni, Karen Shubert and Julia (Gerald) Kraft; three grandchildren, Michael Spangenberg, Jacquelyn and Ian Kraft; great grandson, Desmond Spangenberg; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and sister-in-law, Elsie McComb. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara McGraw; and two brothers, Thomas and Ronald Glombowski.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Rosemary will lie in state from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 57575 Romeo Plank Rd., Ray Township, MI 48096. The Reverend Patrick Crane will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
