Richard L Kaumeier

Richard Louis Kaumeier, 90, of Port Huron, died Saturday, April 27, 2024.

He was born December 22, 1933 in Port Huron to the late Erwin Louis and Marguerite Kaumeier. He married Marlene Leibinger on June 14, 1958 in Argyle, Michigan

Richard served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was employed with Harron Communications for many years prior to retirement. Richard loved watching sports and NASCAR and enjoyed spending time outside in his yard and washing his car.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marlene; son, Richard David Kaumeier (fianceé Shirley Clark); daughter, Linda Becker (special friend Dale Vogel); grandchildren, Jennifer (Rick) Kappel, Jeff (Allye) Bryce, Nicholas and Devon Becker, and Jesse Becker (Shania Klee); great grandchildren, Brennon Kappel, Carson Bryce, Lucas DeBoer, Caroline Becker and Brynlee Becker; brother, David (Janice Marie) Kaumeier; sister, Judy Jolin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Ann Kaumeier; and brother, John Ralph Kaumeier.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
