Richard C Roskey

Richard Clarence Roskey, 86, of Port Huron Township, died Thursday, May 23, 2024.

He was born January 12, 1938 in Port Huron to the late Clarence and Margaret Roskey. He married Gail M. Parr on June 22, 1957 in Port Huron.

Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting muzzleloaders, camping, yard work and working in his pole barn.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gail; children, Richard D. (Vera) Roskey, Annamarie Taylor, Robert A. (Karen) Roskey and Barbara A. Roskey; grandchildren, Chris Roskey and Katrina (Chris) Lawson; great grandchildren, Alivia, Alicia, Savanna, Avery, Aiden and Dakota; siblings, Arthur Roskey, Marilyn Middleton, Mary Roskey, Myron (Pat) Roskey and Janice (Rick) Little; sisters-in-law, Joan Roskey and Edith Roskey; and canine companion, Teddy. He was preceded in death by his grandson, David Roskey; son-in-law, John Taylor; six brothers and three sisters; and faithful canine companion, Buddy.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Shaun Laurain will officiate.
