Deepa Nandamudi, 53, of Fort Gratiot, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, May 31st, 2024.
Deepa was born on October 30th, 1970, in India to Savita & Vasant Fadnis. She grew up in Mumbai, India, then moved to the United States in 1994.
Deepa was known for her vibrant, lovable, and compassionate personality, always putting others ahead of herself. She was a pillar of strength and encouragement to those around her. Deepa was a dedicated social worker, holding a MSW & ACSW. She devoted her career to supporting others, driven by a passion for helping those in need and positively impacting the community.
Deepa was passionate about her involvement in the fight against MS, enjoyed binge-watching her favorite shows, Friends and Gilmore Girls, participating in her monthly book club and most importantly, loved spending quality time with her family and loved ones

Deepa is survived by her husband, Dr. Dev Nandamudi; and son, Varun Nandamudi.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 3rd, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home, 1720 Elk St, Port Huron, MI 48060.
