Flora Martinez

Flora Martinez, 75, of Sanilac Township, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

She was born July 29, 1949 in San Benito, Texas to the late Severo and Aurora Vasquez.

Flora was an exceptional cook who enjoyed feeding everyone. She was the kindest and most gentle woman you could ever know, who welcomed anyone with open arms.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, José; three children, Lilia (Eduardo) Pesina, Fernando Martinez and José A. (Danielle) Martinez; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one on the way; and four brothers and three sisters.

A memorial event to celebrate Flora’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 4585 Main Rd., Applegate, MI 48401.
