Damien R Rivera

Damien R. Rivera, 46, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

He was born July 2, 1978 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Herman Rivera and Beatriz O’Neil.

Damien loved Lions football, good food, especially his mother’s lasagna, “pizza pasta”, traveling, being an uncle, and loved his siblings and friends. He was happiest when he could bring everyone together and make them laugh. Damien always put a positive spin on any situation.

He is survived by his sisters, Nicole Adams (George Sanchez) and Shauna (Scott) Bassett; brother, Brett Hiller; nieces and nephews, George Jr., Siddalee, Leocadia, Jack and Claire. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Minister Shaun Laurain will officiate.
