Gary F. Weiss Jr.

Gary Fredrick Weiss Jr., 54, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

He was born September 17, 1970 in Port Huron. He married his best friend and the love of his life for 27 years, Jannette Truscott, on April 19, 2003 in Trinity Lutheran Church.

Gary was employed with Eugene Welding for many years and then worked for the past 20 years at the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department. He was an avid bowler since he was 14 years old and loved music, building classic cars with his dad, being outdoors, camping, playing cornhole, watching sports, especially football (Pittsburg Steelers) and his nephew Jacob’s hockey (Go Blue!). He had a very special bond with his niece Sage.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jannette; father Gary F. (Linda) Weiss Sr.; brother, Paul (Kandy) Weiss; his “beloved boys” Toby and Ty; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Sherry Truscott; sister-in-law, Ann Truscott; brothers-in-law, Bill (Lori) Truscott and Don (Danielle) Truscott; nine nieces and nephews, Sage, Kyle, Nicole, Dakota, Ashlynn, Jacob, Hannity, Colt and Knox; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford Weiss and Teresa Weiss; nephew, Dakota Weiss; aunt, Patricia Suchin; and beloved fur-baby, Benny Weiss.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home followed by a time of sharing at 6:00 p.m.
