Merton D Forrest

Merton Dwayne “Ed” Forrest, 91, of Port Huron, died Sunday, February 2, 2025.

He was born October 16, 1933 in Leominster, Massachusetts to the late Clayton and Clair Forrest.

Merton was a manager at Prestolite for many years. He owned and operated M.C. Aerospace in Lake Orion for many years and for a short time owned Blue Water Jewelers. He and his wife, Dorothy were also former real estate brokers. He loved to collect antiques.

He is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Doug) Forrest- Huntley and Sandra (David) Wentzel; two grandsons, Bradley and Benjamin Wentzel; and his brother, Clayton Forrest and sister Muriel Forrest.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Private graveside services will be held in Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery, Port Huron.
