Michael Gofton

Michael John Gofton, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 19, 2025.

He was born July 15, 1961 to John and Karoleen (Dolly) Gofton.

Mike was a sports enthusiast. He loved following his favorite teams including, the Lions, Patriots, Tigers and Red Wings. If sports were on, he was watching them. Mike made many wonderful friends over the years working at Burger King.

Mike is survived by his parents, John and Karoleen (Dolly) Gofton; brother, Steven (Terri) Gofton; sister, Lisa (Kevin) Manns; nephew Zachary (Mallory) Manns; and two beautiful daughters. He was preceded in death by nephews Dakota and Niko Gofton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
