James R "Jim" Koebke

James R. Koebke, 78, of Fort Gratiot, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

He was born September 13, 1946 to the late Russell and Beatrice Koebke in Kimball. He married Sandra Blossey in Trinity Lutheran Church on August 13, 1966 and they were married for 52 years until she preceded him in death on October 7, 2018.

Jim is survived by his children, James (Dorothy) of Port Huron, John of Fort Gratiot, Jason (Angie) of Clinton Township, Shelley (Rich) Folsom of Culleoka, TN, and Darrin Hartsock of Chesterfield Township; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son Joseph “Joe” Koebke; two brothers, Arnold and John; and two sisters, Mary and Betty.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. in Ruby Cemetery. Shaun Laurain will officiate.
