Nikolas J McBrien

Nikolas Joseph McBrien, 42, of Grant Township, died Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

He was born September 7, 1982 in Port Huron.

Nikolas graduated from Port Huron Northern in 2000 and then graduated from University of Northwestern Ohio Technical School. He was employed as an auto mechanic with Larry’s Service & Auto in Armada for many years. He enjoyed hunting, scuba diving and building things.

He is survived by his fiancée, Nichole Bannister; children, Chase, Kassidy, Gemma and Jaxon; mother, Nancy Maxwell; father, Joseph (Monica) McBrien; several aunts and uncles; and numerous other family members.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Jeff Pohlman will officiate.
