Kathleen A O'Sullivan

Kathleen Anne O’Sullivan, 78, of Port Huron, died Sunday, September 21, 2025.

She was born June 8, 1947 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to the late John and Esther O’Sullivan.

Kathleen was a 1965 graduate of Port Huron High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas before achieving her PhD. Kathleen taught for many years as a professor in the Department of Education at San Francisco State University. She was an avid reader and loved working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed dining at the Vintage Tavern and also cooking at home.

She is survived by her sister, Jane O’Sullivan; brother, John F. (Carol) O’Sullivan; nephews, John P. O’Sullivan, Ryan O’Sullivan (Lauren Novak) and Sean (Jessica) O’Sullivan; niece, Jillene (Tim) Morgan; great niece, Delaney O’Sullivan; and cousins, Alice Gibson, David Germain (Sharon Curtiss), Mary (Miguel) Tausig and Patricia Verlinde. She was preceded in death by her cousin, William “Bill” and Carol Soini.

Family graveside services will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
