Margaret A Fockler

Margaret Ann Fockler, 91, of Burtchville, died peacefully Sunday, September 28, 2025, surrounded by her family.

She was born April 21, 1934 in Port Huron to the late Carl and Berneice Easton. She married George R. Fockler and he preceded her in death on December 4, 2002.

Margaret was a school bus driver for Port Huron Area School District for many years. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, playing cards and wintering in Treasure Island, Florida. She belonged to BPOE Elks Lodge #343, American Legion Auxiliary, and enjoyed socializing with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Daniel Fockler (Dianne Agar), Suzanne Fockler (Gary Leneway), David (Rebecca) Fockler; step-children, William Fockler, and Pam (Hank) Savalle; grandchildren, Jon Agar, Jessica Loxton, Colton Fockler, Makenna Fockler, Gary (Erin) Leneway Jr., and Matt (Kristin) Leneway; great-grandchildren, Savannah, and Liam; brother, Tom Easton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, George, Robert, and John Easton.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Shaun Laurain will officiate.
