Suzanne M Smith

Suzanne Marie Smith, 69, of Lenox, Michigan died Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

She was born March 1, 1956 in Detroit to the late Walter and June LeTarte. She married Orville C. Smith on September 27, 1974 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2021.

Suzanne was employed as a computer programmer with AT&T for 20 years and retired in 2012. She enjoyed raising ducks, canning, farming, baking bread, reading and assembling diamond art. Suzanne also loved traveling with her church friends. She was a member of Worldwide Church of God.

She is survived by her son, Michael Smith; daughter, Maria (Mark) Amesse; grandchildren, Mary-Anne, Catherine, Marcus, Dominic, Corey, Isabella, Annebella, Sebastian, Thaddeus and Marguarette; brothers, Michael (Viera) and Dan (Becky); sisters, Claudia (John), Trish, and Jenny (Eric); sister-in-law, Ann LeTarte; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cinthia Smith; granddaughter, Anastasia; and brother, Richard LeTarte.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

A Time of Sharing will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
