Rosemary R Howard

Rosemary Ruth Howard, 78, of Port Huron, died Saturday, December 6, 2025.

She was born June 22, 1947 in Detroit to the late Wilfred and Marybelle Doucette. She married David Howard on May 6, 1989 in Port Huron.

Rosemary was a member of the Port Huron Yacht Club. She enjoyed walking, water aerobics, swimming and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, David; a son, Ryan (Tina) Proctor; 4 grandchildren, Cassandra, Caden, Colton and Liberty Proctor; her brother, Fred Doucette; sister-in-law, Theresa Howard; brothers-in-law, Charles, Thomas, Mark and Timothy Howard; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by aunts, Pat and Jean; and uncles Max and Art.

Visitation will be held from 2-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon. on Friday, December 12, 2025 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Allied Veterans Cemetery, Port Huron.
