Anna J Rutkofske

Anna Janece Rutkofske, 93, of Fort Gratiot, died Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

She was born August 27, 1932 in Wabash County, Indiana to the late Aden and Lelah Cain. She married Richard J. Rutkofske on October 12, 1957 in St. Mary Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on February 26, 2018.

Anna was employed as a secretary with the Port Huron Area School District for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Most of all, she lovingly cared for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ted (Deborah) Rutkofske, Mark (Sue) Rutkofske, Douglas Rutkofske and Susan (Bob) Langolf; grandchildren, James (Kelly) Rutkofske, Mark (Linsey) Rutkofske Jr., Adam Rutkofske, Daniel Rutkofske, Heather Langolf and Rob Langolf, 15 great grandchildren; extended family, Dan and Mary Robbins; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, William, Eugene and Albert Cain; and special friend, Don Tallmadge.

Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled.
