Jerry C Hoffman Sr.

Jerry Charles Hoffman Sr., 83, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, February 14, 2026 in his home.

He was born February 6, 1943 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He married Ann Alice Poma on June 15, 1996 in Port Huron.

Jerry served in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Blue Water Cleaning and Restoration for many years. Jerry loved to hunt and spend time in upper Michigan.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; children, Jerry Hoffman Jr., Tim (Lynette) Hoffman and Tammy Stevens; many grandchildren; and step-son, Steven Daneels. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alice Hoffman; and sister, Sandy Kaufman.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Branden Hunt will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot Township. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
