Pamela Gillis

Pamela Edith Gillis, 74 of Port Huron, died Monday, March 30, 2026.

She was born November 15, 1951 to the late William Fred and Minnie Gillis.

Pamela graduated from Algonac High School in 1969, then continued her education with St. Clair County Community College and Central Michigan University. She dedicated 30 years of service as a deputy clerk with the St. Clair County Circuit Court before retiring. Pamela had a deep love for animals, especially cats, and was a supporter of the Blue Water Area Humane Society. She had a strong interest in history and enjoyed playing trivia, which she was exceptionally good at. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and playing the piano and organ.

She is survived by many cousins; and several caring neighbors.

Private graveside services will be held.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
