David H Todd

David Henry Todd, 78, of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

He was born October 28, 1947 in Port Huron to the late Theron and Eleanor Todd.

David graduated from Newark High School in Delaware in 1965 and earned his bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in 1977. He worked for Cybernetics, later known as ADP, for many years until his retirement.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Mt. Pleasant, where he served as an usher for many years. In his free time, David enjoyed flying radio-controlled airplanes, trading stocks on the computer and traveling, especially day trips to try new Thai and Chinese Restaurants. He also enjoyed spending time with his work friends and family. David was an avid reader and had a fondness for growing amaryllis.

He is survived by two brothers, Mark (Anna) Todd and Wayne (Carol) Todd; nieces and nephew, Amy Kennerknecht, Katie Sweeney, Sarah Abbott and Michael Todd; several great nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Marshall Grimm.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, May 18, 2026 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Lee Acervo will officiate.
