Walter R "Bob" Mason

Walter Robert “Bob” Mason, 65, of Clyde Township, died Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

He was born March 25, 1961 in Ogdensburg, New York to the late Walter and Elizabeth Mason. He married Faye Martin on June 20, 2003 in Port Huron.

Bob dedicated 40 years to the trucking industry, driving both over-the-road and local routes. Along the way, he made many good friends. Bob enjoyed relaxing in his recliner while watching T.V. and spending time on the golf course. Most of all, he loved spending time with his favorite granddaughter, Olivia.

He is survived by his wife, Faye; step-son, Adam (Racheal) Trupe; sons, Nate (Abby) and Dan (Danielle) Mason; grandchildren, Olivia Trupe, Brandon, Travis and Noah Mason; and siblings, Joe Mason, Mary Mason, Ed (Patty) Bush, Vivian Nowack, Ruth Mason and Kim Hawthorne. He was preceded in death by his sister, April Mason; brother, Floyd Mason; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
