Patricia R. Davis, 85, of Port Huron passed away August 14, 2012 at Blue Water Hospice Home.
Patricia was born March 13, 1927 in Port Huron. She was the daughter of Ellis and Alice McMann and was a life long resident of Port Huron.
She married Richard E. Davis on September 5, 1950 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Lakeport. They enjoyed a 62 year loving marriage.
Patricia enjoyed a long and active life. Patricia graduated from Port Huron St. Stephen's High School in 1945, and then attended Port Huron Community College. After college she was a member of many community organizations around Port Huron, including the Port Huron Garden Club, Terpsacorian and Formal Dance Clubs, Black River Country Club and St. Stephen's Church. Patricia was a thirty-year volunteer of the American Red Cross. She loved cooking, flower arranging, sewing and playing bridge.
Patricia treasured her home and family. She was the loving mother of Marcy Kerr and Richard E. Davis, Jr. and proud grandmother of five grandchildren.
A memorial services will be held at 12 noon on Friday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Visiting will be from 11 a.m. until noon.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Water Hospice or Visiting Nurses Association.
