Conrad E Moews

Conrad Eugene Moews, 76, of Port Huron died December 4, 2012 in Blue Water Hospice Home after a long courageous battle.
He was born May 24, 1936 in Bloomington, IL. He married Josie Castillo on February 23, 1963 in St. Stephens Church, Port Huron.
After graduating from high school, Conrad enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Greenland and Europe. He then enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, from which he retired. He also retired from Consumers Power after 19 years of employment.
He is survived by his wife, Josie Moews of Port Huron; sons, John (Teresa Presti-Moews) Moews of Chesterfield and Robert Moews of Tavernier, FL; grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Moews and Ian Conrad Moews; many nieces and nephews and his son Bob's dog, Duke.
Conrad was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment of ashes will be in the Allied Veterans Columbarium.
