Elizabeth A Hyde

Elizabeth A. Hyde, 59, of Kimball died December 6, 2012 in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
She was born November 9, 1953 in Port Huron and was a life long resident. She married John E. Hyde on November 18, 1978 in Port Huron.
Elizabeth was a caregiver for seniors for many years. She enjoyed going to casinos, but most important to her was her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Hyde of Kimball; son, Charlie Simpson of Grayling; daughter, Rachel Simpson and Fiance, Eric Goodman, both of Kimball; son, David (Shannon) Hyde of Port Huron; seven grandchildren, Charlie, Laura, Miranda, Jakob, Zachary, Alexander and Andrew; parents, Charles and Joan DeLand of Burtchville; sisters, Virginia (Robert) Hodgins and Karen (Skip) Dimon, all of Kimball; and special friend, Barb Sullivan of Kimball.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kayla Beth Simpson.
Visiting hours will be from 12 to 4 pm Sunday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A private family service will take place at a later date.
Memorials for Elizabeth may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Ronald McDonald House.
