Maxine J. Harrison, 71, of Port Huron died January 15, 2013 in Port Huron Hospital.
She was born April 8, 1941 in Gasconade County, Missouri.
Maxine married James R. Beesley. He preceded her in death in 1971. She then married Donald L. Harrison on March 16, 1985 in Texas.
She loved camping and gardening, but most of all family gatherings and her grandkids.
Maxine is survived by her husband, Donald L. Harrison of Port Huron; grandsons, Andrew Beesley of Marysville, Nicholas Beesley of Lansing, and James (Stephanie) Beesley of Chicago; daughter-in-law, Amy Beesley of Marysville; brother, Roger (Pam) Fisher of Columbia, MO; nieces, Heather and Kelsey Fisher of Columbia, MO; nephew, Danny Haddox of Owensville, MO; niece, Angie Haddox, MO; brothers-in-law, Larry (Sue) Harrison of Port Huron, Ron (Carolyn) Harrison of Mt. Clemens; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Mark) Smith of Port Huron, Joanne (John) Miller of KY, Judy McDonald of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, James R. Beesley, Jr.; sister, Polly Haddox; nephew, Sonny Haddox; and niece, Kathy Haddox.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, January 19, 2013 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate.
Visiting will be from 5-8 pm Friday in the funeral home.
Memorials for Maxine may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
