David Joseph Pemberton, 58, of Fort Gratiot, died Monday, May 6, 2013 in Port Huron Hospital, following a short illness.
He was born September 24, 1954 to the late Lovell H. and Vera D. Pemberton. He married Deborah L. Rosine on November 16, 1991 in Port Huron..
David owned and operated Craftsman Door and worked at Riverside Tank in St. Clair. He enjoyed hunting and cars and was a member of the Riverside Tabernacle Church of God. He was a very loving husband, father, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah L. of Fort Gratiot; a daughter, Emily L. Pemberton of Fort Gratiot;. a brother, William (Florence) Pemberton of Big Rapids, a sister, Christine Adele Gillett of Kimball, brothers, Keith “John” (Jackie) Pemberton of Flint, Floyd (Diane) Pemberton of Carsonville; sister-in-law, Antonia Pemberton of Fort Gratiot; sister-in-law, Lori Zielke of Port Huron; sister-in-law, Janie Rosine of Chicagol IL; brother-in-law, Greg (Shari) Rosine of Kalamazoo; lifelong friend, Mitch Elliott of Kimball; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013 in Riverside Tabernacle Church of God. Bill Litten will officiate.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the church.
Memorials may be made to Riverside Tabernacle Church of God.
Arrangements are by the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
