Nada B Dionne
Nada B. Dionne, 43, of Port Huron Township, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in U of M. Hospital, Ann Arbor, after battling a long illness.
She was born December 13, 1969 in Baghdad, Iraq, to Dr. Emmanuel and Arshalous Battah. She moved to the United States when she was 14 months old. She was raised in Hopkinsville, Ky and graduated from Christian County High School in 1988. She attended Murray State University. Nada married Shon B. Dionne on September 20, 2003 in Holy Cross Church, Marine City.
Nada spent 20 years in retail bank management. She recently started her own authentic spice company "Nada Problem Family of Spices". She loved traveling, spending time with her family and cooking for friends.
She is survived by her husband, Shon of Port Huron; a son Brett; her mother,Arshalous Battah; two brothers, Wiam (Kim) Battah and Raed Battah of Florida; a nephew/niece, William and Vivian Battah of Florida. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Emmanuel Battah.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013 in St. Mary Catholic Church. The Reverend John Thomas will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the church.
