Marjorie J. Neumann, 79, of Fort Gratiot, died peacefully Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
She was born September 28, 1933 to George and Mary (Wisson) Krafft in Jeddo, Michigan.
She married William G. Neumann on November 20, 1954.
Marjorie worked for over 20 years for Michigan Bell, retiring in the early 1990’s. She was a devout Catholic and long-standing member of St. Edward on-the-Lake Church.
Marjorie is survived by her children, William (Robin) Neumann, Patricia (Timothy) Phare and Michael Neumann; grandchildren, Yuvonne (Jeremy) Rogers, Nicole Neumann, Lisa (James Bartshe) and Lawrence Neumann; great grandchildren, William P. Neumann, Addysen Russel, Warner and Colton Rogers; sisters, Patricia Johnson and Carol Krafft; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Neumann Sr., a daughter, Connie Neumann; a son, Lawrence Neumann; and seven brothers and three sisters.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, May 27, 2013 in St. Edward on-the-Lake Catholic Church. The Reverend Lee Acervo will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3 - 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2013 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday in the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Adult Daycare Program, Grace Hospice or St. Edward on-the-Lake Catholic Church.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to Linda, Katrina and Marcie at the Blue Heron for their love and exceptional care provided to her.
