Elizabeth J. Charbeneau, 88, of Port Huron, died Thursday, May 23, 2013 in Lexington.
She was born November 6, 1924 in Roseville.
She married Garth Q. Charbeneau in Mt. Clemens. He preceded her in death in 1989.
She attended St. Edwards on-the-Lake Catholic Church and was a member of the Christian Mothers.
She is survived by a son, Garth Gregory Charbeneau of Port Huron; four daughters, Laura (David) Farrington, Windsor, CO, Monica (John) Cain, Winston-Salem, NC, Maureen (Robert) Clark, Fairhope, AL and Michelle (Tom) Gallagher of Lexington; 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Marie Charbeneau and by four brothers and two sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at St. Edward on-the-Lake Catholic Church. Father Lee Acervo will officiate.
Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the church. A Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m.
Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Columbarium.
Memorials may be made to St. Edward School.
