Mary Davidson

Mary N. “Peg” Davidson, 91, of Port Huron, died Friday, August 16, 2013 in Port Huron.

She was born February 9, 1922 in Kingston, Ontario to the late Richard and Mary Therese Dawson. She married John F. Davidson. He died on January 7, 1999.

Mrs. Davidson and her husband owned and operated the Wolverine Party Store. Her greatest joy was her family and many friends.

She is survived by her eight children, Mary Ann (Terry) Kelly of Port Austin, Rick Davidson of Indialantic, FL, Joan Davidson and Laura Mosher of Port Huron, John Davidson of Kalamazoo, Paul (Patti) Davidson of Fort Gratiot, Martha (Kurt) Eppley of Port Huron, and Beth (Chuck) Symon of North Street; 14 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2013 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2013 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
