Sympathy may be expressed by memorials to the American Lung Association. He taught us many things over the last few months for which we are so grateful. We learned how to balance hope with acceptance. He showed us the importance of laughing, as well as making others laugh, even in the most difficult times. We saw first hand how the relationships you build throughout your life are a beautiful reflection of the person you are. But most importantly, we learned not to be afraid, because we will all be together again one day. We are so proud of you.
