Dona Farley

Dona Jean Farley Port Huron - Dona Jean Farley, 78, died Saturday, October 29. 2005 in Mercy Hospital. She was born February 26, 1927. She was very involved with the UAW and was president of Local 471. She was also very active in politics and Community Theater. She was a Member of First Church of the Nazarene and was active with the Lionesses in Curtis, MI. Dona is survived by her husband, George Farley of Port Huron; Daughters, Rosemary (David) Standfest of Traverse City, Dianne (Phillip) Wills of Waverly TN and Brenda (Dale) Benner of Port Huron; daughter-in-law, Patty Murdick of Plainwell, MI; grandchildren, Brian, Lisa, Mark, Brent, Scott, Chris, Kelly, Sara, Nathan, Dana, Kevin and Holly; sisters, Onalee (Estel) Reynolds and Lorraine Stewart; 4 step-children and their families. She is preceded in death by a son, Donald. A memorial service is being held at 11 AM today in First Church of the Nazarene. Pastors Bill Bixler and David Standfest will officiate.
