Roselyn Cocco

March 13th, 1939 to December 17th, 2005
She was born March 13, 1939 in Port Huron and was a life long resident. Roselyn married Dominic A. Cocco, Sr. August 26, 1961 in Port Huron. She was a graduate of Port Huron High School and Eastern Michigan University. She taught elementary school with the Port Huron Area School District for five years. She has been employed for the past forty years at Intertape Polymer Group, formerly American Tape Co. in Marysville. She was a long time member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Marysville. Roselyn was an avid bowler and enjoyed golf. She was an excellent cook and baker. She loved playing Mrs. Santa Claus at the children's Christmas parties at her work place. Her family was her pride and joy. Roselyn is survived by her husband, Dominic; her daughter, Tracey P. (Edward) Jacobs of Port Huron; her sons, Dominic A. Jr.(Elizabeth) and Ernest M. Cocco, both of Port Hron; her grandchildren, Morgan and Dylan Jacobs and Dominic Cocco, Christopher Reynolds and Clarissa Burgess; her sisters, Alice (George) Keener of Burtchville and Patricia (Herb) Hammond of Fort Gratiot and her sisters-in-law, Patti Edwards of Ogden, Utah and Marie (David) Benedict and Connie (William) Campbell, both of Port Huron and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert T. and Elizabeth T. Edwards and her brother, William Edwards. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Reverend Tracie Loffhagen, Pastor of All Saints Episcopal Church, Marysville will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorials in Roselyn's memory may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, Marysville.
